What influenced you to be a chef?

I grew up eating at great restaurants around Europe and all I wanted was to cook and eat.

What are your favorite flavors and type of cuisine?

Middle Eastern food will always be my go-to. I love citrus flavors and herbs amongst other aromatics.

What do you think makes a good chef?

Team work, communication, sense of urgency, positive thinking, and creativity.

Do you have a favorite recipe you like to make when at home with family?

“Mansaf” the national dish of Jordan where I am from. It is a delight and I could eat it all day every day.

What are you passionate about?

How being a chef allows you to use your imagination and gives you creative freedom.

Did you go to culinary school?

Yes, I went to the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts an affiliate Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Amman, Jordan.
