Cool Springs is a nearby 5-mile hike that follows along a river, offering an easier trail that’s great for warmer days. Shenandoah National Park and places like Glen Manor Vineyard are right off Skyline Drive, allowing you to combine a hike with a winery visit, or even stop by Bear Chase Brewery for an ice-cold local beer on tap.
